Sponsorship Opportunities

We believe that the additions and improvements proposed by the Harry Dallara Foundation will serve as a benefit to the residents of Tryon, Polk County, and the residents of the Greater Piedmont region. The improvements to the baseball park should surely increase interest in organized youth baseball and—we hope—prompt a return to league support by civic clubs and other organizations.

The scope of the project has a broad-ranging appeal and therefore creates opportunities for corporate and community sponsorships for individuals and organizations with ties to Tryon and surrounding region, as well as those with interests in recreation, families and children, and community development. The type of support and amount of investment required can vary considerably, but we believe that there is something for everyone who wishes to sponsor a portion of the project. Among these are:

  • Natural stone additions in the form of tables, benches, safety barriers, and other aesthetic features

  • Additions and upgraded to the baseball diamond, including benches, dugouts, fencing, and lighting.

  • The statue of Harry Dallara

  • The Tryon All-Stars Bas Relief Sculpture and Memorial Plaque

  • Replacement of the scoreboard

  • Signage and other similar elements

  • Trees, shrubs, and other landscaping

  • Baseball equipment

  • Commitments for ongoing maintenance

The Harry Dallara Foundation, with its non-profit status, will serve as a repository for all gifts and will channel them to the proper suppliers of good and services.
